The New London United Methodist Church, as part of its mission to build a connected church community through partnership and neighborhood outreach, partnered with the local community to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need though the Community Cupboard, a New London, WI food pantry.
On Wednesday, November 12th and Wednesday, November 19th, patrons of the Community Cupboard were provided with the opportunity to head over to the New London United Methodist Church and receive a turkey, canned cranberry sauce, and a pie of choice to round out their Thanksgiving meals.
This year, 225 meals were given to families in need in our community, shattering the previous year’s high mark of 180 meals.
The New London United Methodist Church would like to thank our community partners. Without our community partners, this year’s successful event would not have happened.
