Frequently Asked Questions
As a part of the worldwide United Methodist Church family, we follow a set of Bible-based, God inspired beliefs set forth by our denomination. To learn more about our beliefs, CLICK HERE.
Coming into the church from Pine Street there is a sheltered entrance where you can drive up to drop someone off at the handicapped accessible front door. There are handicapped designated spaces near each door, and off street parking spaces on both sides of the building. Street parking is also permitted along Pine Street.
Our church is a blend of traditional and contemporary worship and music. We have a pipe organ, but also guitar music. The general atmoshphere is relaxed and friendly. We welcome all people, and invite you to join us at God’s table.

Holy Communion will usually be received during worship on the first Sunday of the month. The United Methodist Church has an ‘open’ communion table – which means that you can receive Holy Communion even if you’re not a member of this congregation, or even our denomination. We are currently using individual sealed chalices to limit handling of the elements.

The I'm New section can be used to answer the top 5-7 questions a new person would have before attending the church for the first time. One idea would be to set up the page in a FAQ format which answers each question in a clear and concise way. Some questions you may want to answer could include:

  • What is it like?
  • What about my kids?
  • Where do I park?
  • What do I wear?
  • How can I get connected?
